A bit from history of creation of Dubai Healthcare City

The specialized economic area in the area of medical care and health protection was founded at the beginning of 2002, and is the part of a large-scale project TECOM Investments. The occupied space includes the following infrastructure:

  • More than one hundred of laboratory and outpatient centers;
  • Availability of highly qualified professionals;
  • Hotels.

The free zone is located near the famous city district Wafi Mall and in fifteen minutes drive from the Dubai international airport.

The issuance of state business licenses is carried out by the Planning and Quality Control Centre. If your business involves the employment in the field of catering, or you need a license for the provision of consulting services, an additional permission of the city authorities may be necessary.

DHHC Free Zone: registration of a company

Registration of a company in the DHHC specialized economic area is carried out under the following conditions:

  • Possibility of 100% ownership of the company's assets by foreign persons;
  • Exemption of business from corporate taxes;
  • Exemption of business from customs duties;
  • Ability to involve foreign labor force without restrictions;
  • No restrictions on repatriation of assets and no state currency exchange regulation.

The procedure of a company registration in DHHC Free Trade Zone can takes from two weeks or more, depending on the type of the company and the necessary license.
